Country Captain
Captain is a
15.3-hands son of Zipposcountryboy out of Zippo
Serenade.

He
is a multiple World/Reserve World and National Reserve Champion. He
was the Reserve World Champion Western Horse. He was mainly shown in
Trail, Western Riding and Western Pleasure. Only in his last year of
competition did we branch out to other events. During his last outing
at the World, he came out of a cattle event, straight into Western
Pleasure and placed in the top ten. He has a laid back personality and
is easy to work with.

Congratulations to Tom
and Phyllis Kirby and their great mare Mia Country Star
(Country Captain’s full sister) for winning Senior Western Pleasure
at the 2006 World Show. This is their second World Championship
for this great mare.
Congratulations to Betty Linton and Zip’s Gone Country (Country
Captain son) on their sixth place at the Nationals in a tough western
equitation class. Zips Gone Country was not shown at the World show
due to an injury but is expected to pick up where he left off in 2007.
Great things are expected.
Watch for Kiss my Buns, sired by Country Captain as she begins
her show career in 2007. Her loud color and great movement will ensure
success. She is owned by
Jim and Sandy Jirkovsky, J/S Training.
For those polo enthusiasts, yes, Country Captain’s polo babies are now
on the professional polo circuit.
You can see more of the
Captain's babies on the Foal's page.
